Two-factor authentication (2FA) offers significant benefits in enhancing online security and protecting sensitive information.
This is a part of our ongoing effort to make sure the highest level of security and privacy for all users who use ScanUnlimited is provided.
If ScanUnlimited will notice an unusual activity on user's account, it will log out and require providing two separate authentication factors, a password and a unique verification code sent to their email account, in order to sign-in again.
2FA adds an extra layer of defense against unauthorised access.
This additional step greatly reduces the risk of successful phishing attacks and password breaches, as even if a password is compromised, the second factor acts as a barrier to entry.

The purpose of ScanUnlimited 2FA is to provide an added layer of security by requiring a secondary form of verification, reducing the risk of unauthorised access to your account.
2FA will be activated when noticing unusual activity on member's account. This might include:
The verification codes are sent to customer's email. Each code generated must be verified within 30 minutes.
